We are a small in home breeding and former Show home of AKC Longhair and Smooth Dachshunds. ​​
We live in SE Montana (Near Billings) We are not a "kennel" or a "facility." Our home is our dogs' home, too!
The idea of Benderdachs started in 1999. Then I bought books and started studying the breed, and making friends with established and reputable breeders. The first Benderdachs litter of puppies was born April 1, 2002!
Not many Breeders have been around as long as we have, because breeding and raising dogs is a lot of hard work!
Breeding dachshunds can be heartbreaking & expensive. There are a lot of sleepless nights and very few vacations. It can also be very rewarding! We have made some great friends though our love of Dachshunds. We breed to provide nice quality and healthy pets to other people who appreciate having a short, quirky, & loving companion.

We can create dachshund puppies in Cream, Black&Cream, Chocolate&Cream, Red, Black&Tan, and Chocolate&Tan, plus Dapple & Piebald patterns.
We prefer the longhair variety, with an emphasis on "English Cream" heritage, because of their gentle nature and extreme beauty.
We also sometimes have SMOOTH puppies because of their huge popularity and fun loving personalities!
All of our dogs are all FULL AKC Registered. They have been carefully selected for their quality conformation, and healthy lines.
Having AKC registered dogs and multi-generations of our own bloodlines gives us a KNOWN and PROVEN health and structural history in our dogs. Our doxies are family members that raise their puppies right alongside us, INSIDE our home...the babies are NEVER put outside or in a garage! The pups get daily attention & handling, including ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) exercises and experiences, in order to be well socialized and happy when they arrive in their new home with you.
Our adult dogs are fed high quality food, with real meat as the first ingredient. They are given Glucosamine & Chondroitin, Ester C, & Turmeric, and salmon oil for a healthy skeletal structure and healthy skin and coats. They even drink Purified Bottled Water!

Please remember that a Dachshund should live to be a dozen years old, or more! Getting a dachshund is a big emotional and financial commitment! If you are ever unable to keep your Dachshund, please contact us! We can take it back, OR assist you in finding a new home for him or her. PLEASE don't ever take your Dachshund to an Animal Shelter, or have it put down because you can no longer keep it!We often have people contact us looking for adult dogs.We can help you find a Great new home for your dachshund,even if it is NOT a Benderdachs! We have stopped allowing people to come into our home when we have puppies, due to other breeders experiencing Parvo Virus outbreaks at their homes. Parvo is a COMMON, DEADLY and HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS illness that can live in soil for over a year. The virus can be brought in on someone's shoes. In order to keep our puppies safe, NO ONE will be allowed to pick up their puppy at our home any longer. Adult adoptions still DO require an in person interview and pick-up, but we will not schedule adult placements when we have puppies in our home.

We are becoming the Go-To Breeder for Dachshund puppies in Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Idaho, Utah, even Washington and Oregon!
